1. What This Reference Is
San Bernardino County Residents Directory is privately operated. It does not host government records and is not affiliated with the San Bernardino County Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk, Registrar of Voters, Superior Court, library, archive, or another custodian.

3. No Consumer Reporting Agency
This reference is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Neither its material nor results from a linked search tool are consumer reports, and neither may be used to decide eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another FCRA-covered purpose.
4. External Sites
Government portals and third-party services, including sponsored search tools, operate under their own terms and privacy policies. San Bernardino County Residents Directory is not responsible for an outside service's content, availability, pricing, or data practices.
5. No Warranties
The reference is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. Accuracy, completeness, and currency are not promised, and no linked portal is guaranteed to work or return a correct result.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of this reference or a linked resource, including a decision based on a record found through it.

9. Changes to These Terms
A revised version may be posted here at any time. Continued use after a revision means that the updated terms are accepted.
10. Access Restrictions
Access may be blocked or limited for a user who violates these terms or abuses the reference, at the operators' discretion and without notice.
11. California Governing Law
These terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The California Public Records Act, Government Code §§7920.000-7931.000, governs requests to California state and local agencies rather than this private reference. Government Code §7922.535 generally calls for an agency determination within 10 calendar days, with up to 14 additional days in specified unusual circumstances; it is not a promise that production is complete by that date. ARC's request guidance and the San Bernardino County request portal describe the local route.
California's CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, is codified at Civil Code §§1798.100-1798.199.100, with guidance from the California Attorney General and the California Privacy Protection Agency. Those privacy rules do not make this site a government custodian, and court case access follows California court access rules rather than the CPRA in the same way.
12. Severability
If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
